I wasted a stupid amount of money before I worked any of this out.

Courses that promised to change my business. Subscriptions I signed up for at midnight and cancelled three weeks later. Guides written by people who clearly learned everything from other guides and had never actually run anything.

The thing that frustrated me most was not the money. It was how complicated everyone made it sound. Like you needed a computer science degree just to get a useful answer out of ChatGPT.

You do not. I promise you that.

I’m Dan. I’m based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, and I run No Jargon AI for one reason: because when I was trying to figure all this out, I could not find a single resource that talked to me like a normal person running a normal business.

Everything was either written for developers, stuffed with buzzwords, or trying to sell me something before I even understood the basics.

So I built the thing I needed.

What this site actually is

No Jargon AI is a plain English guide to using AI in your business. That is it. No hype. No predictions about robots taking over. No affiliate-first rubbish where I recommend tools I have never touched.

Every guide here is based on things I have actually tried. If something did not work, I will tell you. If something saved me three hours a week, I will show you exactly how.

The site covers three main areas:

AI Foundations, which is where to start if you are completely new. What AI actually is, why it gets things wrong, how to talk to it properly.

Automate Your Business, which is for when you are ready to stop doing the boring admin yourself. Invoice chasing, customer enquiries, lead follow-up. The stuff that eats your week.

AI in Your Industry, which gives you guides built around the work you actually do, not generic advice that applies to nobody in particular.

There are also free tools in The Tool Vault. A prompt builder, a jargon buster, an image prompt generator. All free, all no signup required.

Who this is for

Small business owners. Sole traders. Side hustlers who are doing everything themselves and could really do with getting some of it off their plate.

People who have heard about AI, maybe tried it once and got something useless back, and gave up. That is not your fault. You were not shown how to use it properly.

People who are sick of being made to feel stupid for not knowing what a large language model is. You do not need to know. You just need to know what to type.

Where to start

If you are brand new, go to AI Foundations. Start at the beginning and work through at your own pace.

If you already use AI a bit but want better results, try the Prompt Machine. It walks you through building a proper prompt in six steps. Most people say it is the first time they felt like they actually knew what they were doing.

If you want your admin sorted, go to Automate Your Business and pick the problem that is costing you the most time.

And if you have got questions, email me. dan@no-jargon-ai.com. I read every one.

Right. Let’s get started.
