Genuinely the best general-purpose AI assistant right now. The free tier is decent. The paid tier is worth it if you're using it seriously.
I use Perplexity instead of Google for almost everything research-related. It pulls from live sources, cites them, and gives you a proper answer instead of ten blue links. Brilliant for checking facts, researching topics before writing, and understanding what competitors are doing.
The free tier is genuinely excellent. Pay for Pro if you need it for serious research daily. It's replaced Google for me almost entirely.
