I built this site because most AI content is written by people who want to impress you, not help you. That's not what I'm doing here.
I'm not a developer. I'm not an AI researcher. I'm a solopreneur from Mansfield who got completely obsessed with what AI could do for small businesses. Then equally frustrated by how badly it was being explained.
Most AI content is written for one of two audiences: people who already know what they're doing, or people who've been paid to say it's amazing. Neither group is particularly useful if you're just trying to run a business and save some time.
I started using AI seriously when I was building content and digital products. Slowly at first. A prompt here, an automation there. Then I started noticing the hours I was getting back. The tasks that used to eat half my day were taking twenty minutes. That felt worth talking about.
I'd tried blogging before and given up. Unrealistic expectations, inconsistent approach, the usual story. This time I built something more deliberate. Proper workflows, a clear niche, content that actually helps people rather than just chasing keywords. Turns out that approach works better.
No Jargon AI exists because plain English is genuinely underrated. You don't need to understand how a large language model works to use one effectively. You just need someone to show you what's useful, what's hype, and how to get started without feeling like an idiot.
That's what I'm trying to do here.
"The polished stuff doesn't convert. The honest stuff does."Something I learned the hard way
Some links on this site are affiliate links. I'll always tell you which ones and why. I only recommend tools I've actually paid for and used. A commission never changes my verdict.
Theory is fine. Practical is better. Everything on this site is built around things you can actually do this week. Real prompts, real workflows, time savings you can actually measure.
If I catch myself writing "leverage your AI stack to optimise your workflow" I delete it and start again. Plain English isn't dumbing down. It's just being clear. There's a difference.
Industry guides, honest tool reviews, free AI tools you can use today. No email required, no upsell on every page. Just useful content for small business owners who want to actually use AI, not just read about it.
